Hello-

I was hoping someone could send me in the right direction. I am looking for a slide viewer that uses both directional arrows and chat commands. It also needs to have access limited to either a group, or specific people (either one would be fine), and can be modified so I can use textures that I prefer. I have searched SLX and the scripting library but have not been successful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi not sure this will help, but I dont use Actual slide viewers for my pics, I use a freeview television, which works particulary well.

I have one in my sl home, Also One i use to show of my jewelry I sell.

With slide shows I dont think u need to deed the tele, its only if yuor going to use video or channels u may come up against any probs.

The menu u get when u click the screen offers pictures, Click that, and U will get another menu saying browse the content, with the arrows left and right. Unloop or loop the show, also some freeviews also have a "Set Size" setting, So if You make the screen larger, the texture pic will be noy correctly centred. Bye clicking " set Image" The tele re adjusts the picture to the new screen. Putting in images is a doddle, just open up the contents tab in edit and drag your images into the contents. Dont remove the bookmarks or other scripts already in there, or u may not get any menu afterwards. You can also change the duration the pics stay on before changing, by going into main edit and changing the seconds, but dont cut it down to far, as sl needs a little time to rezz each picture!

If you want to see mine working at a trade stand, feel free to Im me or private message and I will show you it, you can set to group, but not sure about individual people, may be a problem with most teles and slide, as havent seen an "access" list menu!

Hope this helps

Thank you for the reply. I have been poking around the script, and i think with the dialog menu staying on the screen, that helps a lot and might avoid the need for chat commands. I would love something more direct out of the box, but for now, this can work.
