I am a very angry man

I am stuck in a constant frown. lol
I dont have gestures going that I know of.
I have dumped attachments.
I have quit all animations.
I have the same shape.
I have the same skin.
And.. from the looks of me, everyone better steer clear of me today.
Why is this? What can I do.... I don't mind in the short term, its actually kinda funny.
But, over all, Id rather not be...

Have you tried putting on another skin/shape, and then returning to the ones you prefer?

edit: any new hair? or a new version of that bald cap thing you're supposed to wear under your hair?

There's a great poetry to the way you wrote that, Jake. I don't know if it was intentional or accidental, but either way, I think it was quite brilliant. I could totally hear your post being recited over a smooth bass line and some tasteful drumming, at a beatnik bar in the village or something.

I sounds like some attachment (probably your AO or maybe the Mystitool, if you have one) started a "frown" emote anim, and you are stuck in it. Sometimes the "stop all animations" menu command doesn't quite do the job, tho a de-ruther should do the trick (there's one at NCI, one at the Forum Hangout, one in many newbie kits).

However, all such anims should stop when you relog, unless you are wearing an attachment that starts the anim up again. Did you type "worn" to see if you are unwittingly still wearing an attachment?

The way you describe it, it does sound like a gesture gone mad.. No pun intended.. or maybe so..

Try running a gesture that you know will animate the bits of your face that are being mean.. the eyebrows, mouth, whatever else. Maybe that'll straighten you out.

But take a pic first for posterity.

eyebrows are controlled via the hair (system hair) and in the case of folks who wear prim hair, it is usually called bald hair or hair base

From the sound of things this might be a self-fulfillig prophecy!

I did. I threw my Mystitool back on , and went through the whole gamut.

I was Angry with a Big Smile...Angry with a Pout... Angry and Scared... Angry Kissing.

Most emotes are bad enough... the smile always scares me anyway. But this was truly disturbing, and now I will need therapy.
