Hello,
I was checking that the normal pics of 512x512 appear deformed when you put them in the profile and picks section.
Any of you know the correct dimensions?

Here is a great site that shows what sizes are best for various SL texture uses including profile and pics.

Some of those numbers don't exactly look right. How old is this information?
The "Land Listing" image has TWO sizes.. the one the land owner sees, and the one that shows on landmarks (which is much larger). _____________________

This has been a bit of a problem for a while in RC viewer - it seems to default to 512x512 when taking a snapshot and uploading it - which means it strectches in profile pics or on landmarks. The closest I've managed to get is to change the size to 512x256 for pics - alternatively simply shoot to hard drive, process in photoshop and upload as a texture.
It's a bit invconvenient though |
