1) If not done yet, activate the debug menu (Ctl-Alt-Shift-D).
2) Select Client / Rendering / Types / Clouds or Ctrl-Alt-Shift-- (the minus key) as a shortcut

Thanks that did it.
I wish I could keep them out of my building.

From: ConductorX Nieuport I wish I could keep them out of my building. Easy. Just move the whole building 30 m or more up or down. I recommend to move it up: A place just above the clouds leads to very nice views out of the windows. Also, it's easier to build supporting posts or a tower just below.

"G" Seriously try to avoid building right in the cloud layer. Even if you turn off cloud rendering, being in that layer causes lag. And everyone who visits your build will still see the clouds drifting through the walls, even if you turned them off in your own client. Also, choosing not to render the clouds is a setting that I don't think persists between sessions, unless you're using the new Windlight First Look client. Best bet is indeed to move the build up 30 M or so, to get above the clouds. If your land is right in the cloud layer, which is true on a very few of the mainland sims, then make an empty shell that passes through the clouds, and "live in the Penthouse suite".
