Such thing as a refund?

I purchased a prem. membership and land just today. I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to refund them because I wanted to perhaps upgrade to the annual membership and to upgrade my land from 512 to 1024. Any advice is appreciated!

Just get the annual membership, and next month it will be upgraded automatically -- you don't need a refund. Just allow and extra $5 tier, and you can go to 1024.

Hmm. Maybe I got my math wrong again. I was thinking that with the annual membership and the 1024 land, the cost would be $11/mo, when everything's said and done?

Tier fees are charged monthly (over the initial 512), irrespecive of how you pay your premium membership fee. So you woold pay $72 per year for premium membership plus $5 per month for the additional 512m/sq (1024 total)

The point of the annual membership is that you pay the US$72 all at once, so you would pay the US$72 as soon as you signed up, and then pay $5/month for the land.

Your total expenses after a year would come out to US$11/month, but that is not what would actually be charged to your card.

You are confused:

One thing is membership payment

Another thing is land payment

Annual membership would be one time price of 72 usd. No monthly is there unless you paid it monthly at 9.99 a month.
1024 sqm land would cost around 5. Your first 512m2 would be free.
Land price is separate thing though you still have to buy land and that is one time thing too.

You get charged $72 immediately, which works out to $6 per month. That's membership. You also get charged $5 on a monthly basis thereafter, that's tier. Tier is the monthly charge for owning land and it is based on the amount of land you own. 512 is free, 1024 is $5 per month and it goes up from there. So annually, you pay $132, which is exactly equal to $11/month.

You have to pay $72 to LL IN ADVANCE for 12 months...

...This includes 512 of land tier

Your extra 512 (to take it to 1024) will cost you $5 per month....

So -

If you are working ou an annual budget - yes $11 per month - HOWEVER

you need to pay $72 NOW and $5 for the next 12 months to do what you wish...

You CANNOT say to LL "i'd like an annual permium membership but pay for it monthly" r we'd all do it.

You get a discount for paying 12 months in advance for your premium membership.

You cannot pay your annual premium membership monthly.

Actually, maybe we aren't understanding your question. An annual membership is a one time per year payment, so your monthly charge would be $5 after you pay that once per year payment of $72. You don't pay any additional amount per month until the end of the year when you have to buy another annual membership, or until you acquire enough land to bump you to the next tier range.

So, the answer to your question is $5/month.

You got the answer right yourself. $72 a year=$6 a month, plus $5 a month to own 1024. Nice to see all the helpful folks trying to decifer things though.

Don't pay for the yearly membership until a day before your current month that you paid for is due.

Don't forget to deduct the premium sign-up bonus.... so it comes out to less than $11 US per month (if you sell your L$.....).

For Example:

Dec 12th: $72 - Annual Membership (one payment)
Jan 1th: $5 - Additional Tier Payment (for extra 512 above the 512 that comes with premium)
Feb 12th: $5
Mar 12th: $5
....... fast forward.....
Dec 12th next year: $72 + $5

Also there is the weekly stipend to take into account.
