I wish to change the ground textures and such for my land, which is Group owned by a group I am the owner of. However, when I go to region/estate and such, i can't change anything.... can anyone tell me why?

Is it because it's a mainland parcel?

The only way to change the texture for your terrain on the mainland is to cover the real terrain with prims.

On a private island, that is also the only way to do parcel-level changes to terrain coloring.

On a private island, the sim owner or their estate managers can change terrain textures, but only for the entire sim at once.

The only exception on the mainland, is some land will get greener the higher you raise it. This is the case with the beach terra in Liome. The more I raise it, the greener it gets. Otherwise you are stuck with what the good Lord (and LL) gave you on the mainland.
