Earlier today I was dealing with a group of 25 prims with similar names. I had ressed them out for adjustments, and I was going to put them all into a box, so I selected them all and chose "take". They vanished - but not into my inventory!
I ended up ressing 25 more, re-doing all the adjustments, and repeating the operation. This time they all went to my inventory, and I got them into my box.
Here's the problem - in my About Land, I'm still showing 25 prims as "selected or sat upon". They were scripted objects, but beacons do not identify any scripted objects over the spot where I was working with these prims. I've flown to a height of 1000 meters, and cammed down well below ground level.
I've used two different object scanners and I cannot find the things by name. How do I find them?

I just lost 254 prims in a linkset the same way, it's part of a 900 prim build, so i saved what I could and left.

Something similar happened on one of my sims yest and today. we found a whole pile of stuff up around 600M...that no one put there. Furniture, our main entrance fountain etc. I also found a number of things by going into the region tools and choosing the option to view top scripts. I sorted those by owner name to look for things folks reported missing. Then when i realized things were up high, i looked through allllll of the locations for things up above. Then i also looked and found some in the ground. Because that tool has a beacon...i was able to find all of the missing items i think. Weird stuff going on for sure. One resident's living room set was completely scattered. One piece at 666m, one to the left, one to the right and many meters away. Almost as if an explosion went off and blasted things in every direction...Anyone else have any of this?
