Prompted by the post about the Playboy trademark, I googled 'Second Life' and every entry on the first 20 pages was about our beloved virtual world. Yet 10 years ago, before SL or Google existed, if one had typed in 'Second Life' to a search engine, I'm sure it would have come up with a long list.
Can anyone else think of any earlier uses of the term 'Second Life'. I know LL own the trademark, I'm not trying to stir any trouble, just interested.

The only thing that comes to mind for me is something akin to a newspaper report about someone leading what could also be called a 'double life'. Y'know, the "mild-mannered reporter led a second life as a crime-fighting superhero", or "his wife had no idea he was living a second life in the very next town, where he fathered 16 children whilst telling her he was just on his way to work" kind of thing.
