Just curious as while spend most my time is several prefered sims, I do often take off on TP tours to new places. I just realised that other than fiddling with my viewer sky/water settings when windlight preview client came out, I cant recall ever being to a sim and seeing anything other than the default skies. If it is live, can anyone recomend a nice themed sim with good windlight effects ? Maybe something along the light fantasy or sci-fi theme. I am guessing that feature is not implemented yet or maybe i just need to get out and about more.  |

I don't think it varies any by sim. You may not have it turned on on your machine. In edit->preferences go to the graphics tab and see if Atmospheric Shaders is turned on. That's were most of the WL goodies kick in. When you turn on atmospheric, water reflections becomes available below it, which is the other big eye-candy.

No, the controls to allow an Estate owner to set Windlight preferences for all who visit their sim do not exist yet. Planned for some far future date, but not yet.
