The good thing is that with the epidemic of childhood obesity in the US, the little buggers are easier to catch these days, and the meat is nicely marbled and oh so tender. In my day, children were quick and stringy. They didn't spend all day cooped up in a house playing xbox - they were free-range children.

Agreed on the 503 errors. I'm about to give up and go do something productive.

lol - at least 3 503s trying to post this. Is that what "ironic" means?

LL's next door neighbor in RL is a midsized ad agency with a small technical staff that keeps their network and website running. Every time you see that message, they get an email. They look at it and say, "I wish to hell LL would get a technical staff and leave us alone. We're going to have to complain to the landlord again. Just last week, those guys spilled bong water all over the men's room, and this morning, their hackey sack game kept us from parking in our spots. This is getting ridiculous." Then they delete the email.

Okay, can I ask a simple question here without everyone jumping on top of me (yum!) -But just what is a 503? I keep getting them like everyone - but I have honestly NEVER seen one on any website before this week with sl. Please dont get technical - it is -42 celcius where I am and my brain is frozen solid.

How many of us would really mind if they took the website down for 24 hours and when it came back, it was FIXED?

I think I could survive the withdrawal symptoms for 24 hours, if it meant the chewing gum could be replaced with duct-tape at least. I wouldn't be HAPPY, but this 503 is a waste of my brain cells cursing at it.
