Hey all
I did a search for this and didnt come up wth any answers. I just want to go back to basic account. So what hapens if i dont pay for the premium account on time?? Does my account get completely cancelled or do i just downgrade to a basic account??

Yeah, your account can get locked, and if it stays locked for a few months, you lose your inventory and L$ too. Definitely downgrade to basic, and make sure the change has stuck across a billing cycle, before wandering off into hibernation.
(If the account goes unpaid for a shorter time, your stuff will still be there after you pay. it's the longer lapses that can cause serious damage.)

i had the same problem,i saw a red money amount on my account,it meant they had tried to take the money out of paypal but it was'nt there,so i guess i was in arrears
I wanted to go to basic but worried about the red money amount.
I asked on the forums and i was told if i left it and did nothing my account could get deleted/locked,i was told to downgrade to basic,so i did.
Make sure you downgrade to basic in your account

I suspect you might need to pay the balance owed even if you have switched to basic.

My payment due date is 30th of March. I will be away around that time. So when do you thik the best time is to downgrade to basic?? If i downgraded a day later would that be alright or should i do it on the day that the payment is due??

Riz Do in now and also be careful on defaulting on payments as some places ( no sure about LL) will keep trying and each time it tries and there is no funds you cop a fine if it is linked to your RL bank account. |

In fact, the sooner you act, the better, because if you do it any time in the last week, there's no guarantee that the request will be processed in time to stop the membership fee being charged to you regardless. |

/me was away for a while and lost his account because of non-payment.
I thought about re-activating it, but my inventory would be empty so it would only be for the name.
