No one else seems to have this problem, it only exists on my accounts no matter if I use another PC...
There are other SL users in my hosehold, this problem is not on their accounts.
The problem is...
On my SL start up screen, and inworld: Any tab or button, any inventory item, any folder I mouseover my pointer dispalys a textbox with the web design info in it.
Some examples:
Communicatebutton: /panel_toolbar.xml/toolbar_stack/auto_panel/communicate_btn/Communicate
An inventory item: /floater_inventory.xml/inventory filter tabs/Allitem/Inventory Scroller//My Inventory/Notecards/Little Mos Eisley Combat Rules 5/10/2008
It makes it really hard to see what I am clicking on until it fades.
I am thinking there is either some bug that is plaguing only me, some setting I have to turn off (not likely or other people would know), or I have been given privaleges with Lindens regarding the building of the SL sight (Yay! Bad choice, but Yay!)
Does anybody out there know how to turn these stupid mouse-over-widget things off?
Does anybody even understand my question?

This is a debug setting, I'll report back with the exact location. Unless someone beats me to it.

Try CONTROL + SHIFT + T
That will get rid of it for you (I think)

To get the "Advanced" menu press Ctrl-Alt-Shift-D
Edit in response to IBME: Also note there is no keyboard shortcut associated with this option.

Go to View, Hover Tips From there you can choose - Show Tips (Shortcut: Ctrl-Shift-T) - Land Tips (Shows parcel name and owner when you hover over ground) - Tips on All Objects (Displays details for all objects, even those that aren't "interesting" [clickable/for sale etc]) |
