Hello,
How do I tell if my avater has finished 'rezzing' ?
I sometimes feel, when trying on new clothes or skins, that I don't allow enough time for my avatar to rezz fully.
Is there a way of telling when the rezzing has finished ?
Thanks as always, FH

It really boils down to what you see on your screen. If everything looks fine (shape, height, skin, hair and clothes) then you’re rezzed. Used to be that until you fully rezzed you could have a Ruth shape or that stock newbie look. Now with the newest viewers you would have a cloud or ghost look. As far as what others see on their screen though that could be completely different. I’ve looked fine on mine but had other people tell me I look like some short naked hairy woman with a grey face and dancing. One way to hurry things along is to go into Appearance mode and right back out. I call it “fluffing”. Seems to help get that static cling look out of my pant legs.

If you can see yourself and all your clothes, then you are rezzed on your side but the rez time for others to see you will vary depending on their connection.
There is no way to tell if you are done rezzing according to everyone around you without polling them.

From: Awnee Dawner i have seen people sitting and driving a car, but there was no car That might have been me. Sim crossings are not always kind. One suggestion for knowing if your own clothes have rezzed is to open the Texture Console (somewhere under Advanced) and wait until everything settles down--then you know you've rezzed. The downside is that you also know that everything else has rezzed, so you may be waiting a really, really long time--potentially forever, if other avatars keep popping into view.
