I have just installed ubuntu and have downloaded secondlife. As I am new to this type of opperating system I can not get secondlife to run. What do I need to do for the game to load please help me thank you

You downloaded it to the desktop?
If so unzip it there, open the folder and double click secondlife start icon... If it fails to load after that then you need to change video card drivers... Give us more information if it isn't working. |

Note also that there's a fairly active Linux-specific sub-forum at /263/1.html, with a lot of Ubuntu threads that may be useful.
