Darn it. I know I've seen a thread about this, but now I can't find it. Do you people know of great scenic places that allow you to fly slowly over them in your own dirigible? Or could you point me to the thread I thought I remembered. I have already tried Mexico and it works very well. No crashes if I am careful. I found this as relaxing as horse back riding, but to get much out of it, you have to be able to fly fairly low to see anything but clouds. But then ban lies wreck you quickly over the hodge-podge mainland.

You could try our estate, the Isles of Fatima... search in the Map for "Fatimas" and it'll pull up our sims. We have our own balloon tours too Inc

You can head out over the water, or go the other way toward Corsica. Abbott's isn't a bad place to start either, you can sometimes get pretty far, if you avoid the sandboxes. Also FairChang is pretty good for flying.

Baffin and the surrounding area (mostly water) is a good bet - right in the middle of the Old Continent. Alternatively you could set off from my property in Duzzclown (230, 222,21) Corsica (it's a sort of circular wooden jetty thing). There's open ocean/air space all (mostly) the way down to Nautilus. I and friends regularly sail and fly (I've even driven along the sea bed) to Nautilus harbour. It'll allow you to rez up to 205 objects, so as long as the dirigible's not bigger than that..help yourself. Perre.. In fact anyone else who wants to sail out of there feel free.

Thanks very much. I'd like to explore it on foot too as this is another peaceful Victorian themed region. The other suggestions sound great too. I'll have to try them another night. [yawns]

Then again, since you did mention a dirigible ... this might be just what you need. http://slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=304873
