This is probably a foolish question, but is it possible to change the behavior of your avatar so that his/her "look" isn't always where the mouse pointer is on the screen?
I know it is useful when you WANT to look at someone while you are talking, but there are times when I would like to have the avatar NOT look where the mouse is.
Thanks,
DG

Do you use an AO? One way would be to get a new standing animation that locks the head and neck, I know I've seen a few around.
Another on-the-fly way is to ALT-click on something directly ahead of you, then you'll keep "looking" at that spot until you start walking or need to click on something else. You'll have to keep on doing it though.
There might be a way to do it in the client preferences, but I suspect not since I've seen other threads talking about this problem. Apparently it's especially annoying when you're trying to take a self-portrait snapshot.
