I know the title is rather vague, not sure how else to word it
I am using the RC and when I ctrl alt mouse cam around, or just alt or ctrl mouse cam around, the camera seems to keep moving even after I had stopped moving it
same when zooming, if I mousewheel zoom, and stop, it still moves a little extra
highly annoying when trying to get a close up on small objects
also when camming around close on something, when I stop, the items seems to shift, but it actually doesn't move
This doesn't happen on the reg client, however I like some of the options on the RC over the reg one
does anyone know of any setting for that? or any ideas? or if there is a jira on that subject
One way I would try to describe it is "loose camera controls" and "the appearance of shifting prims"

I know what you mean, I noticed it too. But I haven't done anything yet to find out if there is a solution or a Jira. I agree that it is annoying, even though I got so used to it that I automatically correct it before it happens I think I will actually try to find out more about it tomorrow, will keep you posted if I do.

I just checked this with my viewer and here's what I can see happening.
Check to see that your camera smoothing under the input and camera tab is set at 0 - Mine was and I bumped it up to 2 just to see what the effect was...I got bouncy mouse. Turned it back to 0 and now it's all right again.

The RC drove me nuts. The floating, bobbing, sticking, and the lack of camera made me give up and go back to 1.19.

FWIW, a cam-related pjira was on the agenda for today's bug triage; it seems there's a whole bundle of cam problems all being grouped under https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5477, which has been assigned. (But some of these reports go back to the 1.18 viewer release.)

That was it, the camera smoothing was at 1 (never noticed that setting before) knocked it down to 0 and it works like I want it to work
