Freebie jard sale

Been traveling todays events and stumbled on this one:

We have put out tons of FREE FULL PERM ITEMS!!!! Just to list a few clothes,jewerly,shoes,sneakers,skins,sunglasses,animations,pocket books,houses,dancing equipment,sex poses,dances,
avatars,CD music,textures just to much to list!!!They are lined along our mall walkway and many are in FREEBIE vendors! Have ball check this out!! FREE IS GOOD!

Now ok if someone giving avay freebies....but actualy selling them and announcing that this is some mayor event duh how low can this person get. Not a single frebie is there for free....and not single item has ful permitions as stated in add!
Dont you think people that this is robery in pure daylight!?!?
How can someone get so low and exploit other people yust for profits?
Anyway im never again returning to that store....

LOL been exploring shops today and noticed he is not only one who sells same freebies.
Prices for freebies are goin up to 1k lindens. So it can easy happen to you that item wich you can buy in one store for 10l (if not counting stores that gives for free) would cost you in nother 1k,Btw checked my inventory found some item that i paid 499 lindens and is actualy freebies...i got scamed :/ lol

We've all gotten scammed at least once. Especially if you're just learning the ropes.

I was texture shopping recently for some plank floor textures. After spending 2 hours tping from texture place to texture place, I was rather dissapointed at the amount of the SAME textures I was seeing places. Ranging from outrageous to free. Incredibly disheartening. I actually bought a bundle pack somewhere because I liked 1 texture in it. Got it home and opened and dontcha know, one of them was a texture I actually did myself! Ticked... does not even begin to describe the feeling.

Ooooh you poor thing! I can only just begin to imagine how you felt. I'm so sorry that happened to you.

I was looking for some specific item of clothing and found this new store. The building the store was in wasn't some cheesy prefab. The store had a classy feel to it with good use of lighting and architecture. The vending posters on the wall looked good with a model wearing the clothes in various poses. Then I ran across a freebie shirt being sold for 50L. It just sent up alarms and serious doubts on whether the whole store was possibly made of biab stuff. I didn't buy a thing.

I never look for those big "get your freebies here" places

what I like is stumbling onto a true freebie at someone's store.

much like what I did at my store, I put a pair of boots up for free.

so true freebies that are not part of a freebie package

(also have them at the shelter as a freebie, and a couple other places, including the movix sim where I have a store set up as well)

now those business in a box deals are ok, I actually did buy one, found them great to learn from, especially the hair part, it helped me to understand how hair is made (now I just have to try to make hair hehe)

they also come in handy to create full avatar sets that I can sell for cheap, cuz the only thing I charge for is the stuff I make myself (shape, clothes and shoes) the skin and hair are from the business in a box deals.

they are also handy for putting in store fronts to help add to a build such as the movix city build. I still need to set up a few stores and put the items at like 10L each, nominal fee but at least a fee to help try to cover what would otherwise be rental income) unless I know for a fact the item is a freebie, sadly I do not know each and every freebie out there. I will of course put a sign stating that these could be available elsewhere for free, so no one will feel as though I am trying to scam them

now if I can only figure out how to get ppl to come there, and rent.
So hard to get renters in a new build, no one wants to rent cuz traffic is too low, traffic is low cuz nothing there to shop or live for

I need... a gimmick or some kind of event or something to get ppl to come there and live/rent set up shop, get an office and hang out there.
