Yes, yes, I'm sure there's already a thread (a nice long one with the answers I'd like, too) for this, but either I'm too blind to spot it, or it's just a ways back in the pages. Either way, does anyone happen to know some good freebie locations for clothing, skins, and (more importantly for me) walk animations? If there's already a thread with all the answers, feel free to link to it, I'd appreciate that.

YadNi's Junkyard.

Not sure about the walk AO's though. Should find most everything else though.

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

Freebie Jeebies (Wilted Rose) is much smaller and easier to deal with than Yadni's, but concentrates only on AV accessories. Has a basic freebie box with walk AO (standard sexy walk) and nicely selected piles of boxes with clothes, basic skins, hair, jewelry, all in one room, with pictures on the boxes so you can select just by looking. Stuff for women and men both. I believe many of the things there are 1L, not strictly speaking free but nearly so.

Yadni's is very strong on building tools and gadgets, by comparison, and has prim tutorials etc. as well. But it's confusing.

Nowhere near as confusing as the Freebie Warehouse, tho!

You should check out "Freebie Planet", they have a good bit of clothes.

The GNUbie store in Indigo () has an incredible variety of very useful items, clothing, textures, and more.

Read about it here:

A second vote for Free Dove.

If what you're looking for are avatar specific items, (clothes, skins, shapes, etc.) it's a must visit for all beginners.

Some of the other ones mentioned were more difficult for me to navigate when I first started, but are well worth the try if you've got your SL legs firmly under you.
