Hello,
I want to sell items (through a vendor), but I do not like others to able to copy them. Wjat is the appropriate persmission for this. (The question may sound stupid, but I actually do not know if some copy restriction can block the item to be given away).

You simply set the "No Copy" permission for the next owner, by unchecking Copy. This does nt affect YOUR ability to copy the item, directly or via a vendor owned by you.But when the person buys the item, what they get will have the permissions you checked off on the bottom of the edit window for the item.
Note that if you also want to lock down scripts in an item, they have their own permissions. A no copy item containing a full-perms script would still allow the next user to copy the script and use it in their own items.

Turn off Copy on Next Owner persission in the Edit box of all the items you are selling. They will then become Transferable, but not copiable. You can set Modify to whatever you feel is appropriate. If you are selling objects, make sure you set the permissions while they are rezzed, not while in inventory.

and remember to test those perms with an alt. both the object and any object contents.
