Seeking a specific roleplay environment

I've looked around.
Looked around again.
Again about a month or so later.
And I cannot find what I seek.
I am looking for a sci-fi type roleplay in which I can roleplay my created alien species. I want a place that isn't sex oriented, and not based off of a series of anysort.
So far my search has been fruitless.
Has anybody seen a place that meets the above requirements?

If you want a good answer need to know a little about the alien race.
But I kinda of consider all of SL a roleplay environment.

Yeah, right now I'm limited to wandering around SL and including random people in my roleplay.
Alright, in a brief nutshell my alien creature is tall, furry (but is NOT a furry), shapeshifting and portal traveling.
However if I were to find a suitable roleplay area I would cut out or minimize those last two to fit the rules.

Maybe Babylon 5? I'm not sure whether or not you have to look like one of the species from the show or if you could come as a new one... I hope you find a good place it sounds like fun!

Yes it is, although I'll make an exception to those that allow created alien species, and don't have to know everything about the series.

you could try space colony necronom, altough from the land discription it appears sex based it is a bit more general, offcourse there is sex roleplay but a lot of more general roleplay too, even child avatars are alowed but not near the sexual things obviusly (at least they where last time i visited the place) Do expect harsh language there, the space colony is a rough place.  link to the SL search page |

Good Luck! S'what I thought. D: I looked at Necronomicon and tried it a little, but I'm not sure if its quite my thing. I like more organization with character cards and such.  Now if I had the money I'd make my own place. I can't be the ONLY one seeking this kind of place...or am I...  |

Generally, going into a freeform RP in SL or anywhere else with a predefined idea of the experience you want to have is a bad idea.
