Hi all,
I have a 544 sqm lot, but it's not big enough to use my new skydiving pod, nor do I have enough prims available to use the pod without removing my stuff first. I've been looking around, but I'm having trouble finding a place without alot of skyboxes, people, griefers, etc. Of course, I don't want to risk losing my pod to a land owner, or someone else. Do I have to own a larger parcel or rent somewhere? Is there anywhere I am allowed to use this 27 prim item without offending anyone or getting myself banned?
Thanks for any advice.

You can go to Abbott's Aerodrome and use their pods if you can't find a place to use your own.

Cubey Terra's four-place skydiving pod is 27 prims so I assume that's what you've got. If so, you can't really lose it since it does have copy permissions. For using on your own land, you can try a couple of things. One, get the Terra 8X Skydiving Pod 1.0. Oddly, even though it carries twice as many people, it's 6 prims less at 21. Two, you could make your own. Try searching for the WARPPOS script (I've been meaning to find it myself but never got around to it). Here's a thread that may help: /54/d6/231250/1.html#post1808835 Alternatively, you can use other people's skydiving pods. Search places for SKYDIVE or SKYDIVING. I hear Hugsy Penguin Skyport is a cool place. It's undergoing renovations, but the skydiving is functional. Edit to Add: I playing around with the WarpPos function in the one script linked above. Cool trick. Super fast. But it tops out at 768m. Will probably need a script based on physical movement. --Hugsy
