DROP isn't working?

Hello,

Having a time dropping my items that I'm wearing...am using that option as actually TRYING to drag and drop inventory is a right damn pain lately.

Anyway, I'm wearing said item, ON my own land, NOT even deeded to group and it's giving me this error:

[18:42] You cannot drop objects here. The owner of this land does not allow it. Use the land tool to see land ownership.

I tried earlier today, albeit unsuccessfully. Last night was ok...what's up today? I mean if I can't even drop MY own items on MY own land!

Andddd...this is stuff I'VE made, full perms, NO scripts...I'm SO frustrated I could hit something!!!!

Help! If anyone has found a workaround? Is SL broken? Again?

Did you drop object on land you own or have group building status permissions?
If you do was your group title on?
That is only thing I can think of at the moment why it wouldn't work but this has happen to me once when I was newer.
Things have been buggy even on my own land. I get items all this week returned.
Even though I thought I was careful with my group settings,etc yet maybe I messed up.
But I have like 5 land groups in over a 2 sim area that I can use. So when I am building so it gets pretty messy sometimes too with switching groups,etc.

Yes, I'm on my own land. It's set under my name, no object auto return is on. It's set to a group, but not deeded.

Hmm...I've had stuff returned to me as well...two people have mod rights to my stuff, could that be it? I wouldn't think that could be a problem though as the land isn't group land...I thought you could only return stuff that wasn't yours on group land?

*sighs* Another unproductive night in SL then.

Hopefully it'll work soon. Could it be lag perhaps? An asset server problem? The gods of SL hate me.

Do you have enough primspace available for the item you're trying to drop? In other words, if you're dropping say a 50-prim boot but your land has only 30 prims available, it probably won't allow you to drop the object there.

There's problems with drop -- it only seems to work right if object entry/creation are set to everyone. On my group land, with group title set, the "drop" is even greyed out.

Yes, I have about ~600 prims left, and the thing I'm trying to drop is about 40 at the most...just trying to add ONE single prim to the thing. >.<

Too bad you can't attach anything to something you're wearing, would make creating something prim-wise SO much easier!!!!

And, yes, object entry is set to Everyone as I'm currently building on the land and have friends building with me.

I don't know anymore...SL is just so lame these days. Everything's breaking.
