This "club" on our sim has now decided to plant 40 campers on his land and no one who has homes or businesses there can enter the sim because its full. I just im'd the owner and asked him nicely to remove a few of the campers and his response was NO, maybe we will sell him our land. I will let that land sit and rot before I do that.
Does anyone know of any recourse for this?

Have you tried the sim owner? He may be able to help you, if not then maybe you could AR him.

I am guessing it is mainland
if it is mainland contact ll (use support) but first file an ar then refer to the # you get from it, when you contact support
good luck

Just as Raoth said. First file an AR, then open a support ticket referring to the AR by number. You need to state that the high number of campers prevents you from entering the region where your parcel is located.
From first-hand experience I know of two cases where this led to a reduction/elimination of camping spots within a few days.

now THAT is abuse of the system and should not be tolerated.
best of luck. definitely AR them and open a support ticket too, if you are impatient.
my question back to you is 'why did they plant the campers'? is it to boost traffic for a store? if so, how can clients get in if the sim is full.

Well after 20 minutes of arguing with him i let the IM finish because i was getting nowhere The land owner just im'd me and said he had freed up 20 campers. We actually started talking and managed to work through our differences. Its not a good thing to have angry neighbors. Too much stress in rl. But we are on speaking terms now and i'm so glad it did not escalate beyond this point. I will keep the advice i got here should that ever happen again. Thank you all for replying

My friend went and looked for Linden for over a month to ask for help with problem. She owned most of the sim but someone with smaller lot was using the entire Sims resources with camping. He even came and visited her Sim. They talked to the Casino with campers and they cut down the chairs. I think she tried repeatively to talk to owners but they refused to respond. If she tried to talk to the persons they wouldn't have listen or helped but having Linden show up at person'sdoorstep wanting to talk to them, get their attention quick. I don't believe its abusing the system personally. If you pay for land you should have right to be able to enjoy it.

are they campers or are they bots?
maybe it's just me, but i've noticed a lot of bot-campers lately in those high traffic/high-popularity places.
when is LL gonna respond to this abuse of resources by the few who are gaming the system? probably never. sigh.

I agree that camping isn't abusing the system, if that's what you meant, but having enough campers to fill a sim is an abuse - unless you own the whole sim, of course. Mainland sims allow 40 avs in them at any one time, and land owners using them all for themselves, therefore not even allowing other land owners into the sim, is an abuse.

I have seen instances in the police blotter of landowners being sanctioned because of to many camping chairs. Try to rally all the other land owners in the sim to AR as well. Goodluck.

But when is Linden Lab going to punish themselves when they receive ARs from land owners in sims where infoHub land is being abused? http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e298/bladyblue/BEAR/?action=view¤t=41insimposter-1.jpg
