Group not there?

I created my own group, now I see it's not in my list anymore and I can't find it in search. I went to recreate it and it says the group has already been created. WTF? How do I rejoin my group again when the system says it doesn't exist but then changes it's mind when I try to remake it.

I don't think LL would block or ban the group. I was the only member in it. It had nothing in it against TOS. It was made for my shoppers. I don't think the name would have been taken either because I named my group after me, XxSPEAKxX Glom.

What's going on?

In order to keep a group, you must have at least two people in it. If it drops to only one the group gets closed. The side effect, as you have seen, is that the name is not cleared. The group is not deleted, it is closed. That name can never be used again.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
I'm starting to think LL grabs random idiots off the street and tells them to make the rules of SL.

They usually send you some warnings before disbanding it. I think those come by way of pop ups or emails. Check the email associated with your SL account.

But we've all learned this the hard way at some point.

This one does kind of make sense, though. Can't really call it a group of one.

At the time that you create the group, one of the bits of info they give you is that it must have two members. They gave you the rules and you chose to either not read them or to just not follow them.
