This has happened to me in the past, but on both the old and new release candidate and the main client, it no longer asks me where to save photos I want to download to my hard drive nor of course, does it give me the option to name them.. This is really hard because I need my photos for my SL job.
Any help is appreciate--work around or has something changed? It's not like they NEVER tell us anything... LOL

Hi Garret  Is the problem that it IS saving to your hard drive, but won't let you choose where and under what name? Or is it that it won't save to the hard drive at all? |

Every time you log on it should ask again when you save, but if you set it once, that session will always have it... but I'm assuming you mean in different sessions.. in which case.. iono O.o
