I have an old version of Mysti tool that is hidden somewhere on my property. I do NOT have it listed in inventory or any other version, I erased all. But I know this one is out there because it tells me I'm within range when I get within 20m. I have done everything I know to find it including erasing the land itself. What can I do to isolate it and get rid of it?

Have you tried highlighting transparency? Ctrl + alt + t might let you see it. There's also an option in the about land window under objects. Hit the button to show all objects, then select your name...this will outline/show all your objects. Maybe will show up then? I'm not very techie, but these are 2 ways I've been able to find those pesky hidden objects.

Nice feature about Multi Gadget is that if you leave it rezzed, but unattached for a while it starts sending you IM's saying where it is, and ultimately, if you do not retrieve it, simply deletes itself from the sim. I highly recommend you pony up the less that $1 USD for it, it's way better than Mystic Tool.
I figured this out just recently too, as I've never generally left them laying around, but I inadvertently detached and dropped one without realizing it, and a while later I started getting the IMs.

Try the Emerald viewer, area search, there you can put in the name of the missing object, double click it and you will get a red beacon.

If it's on an island, the owner or an estate manager should be able to locate and return it using the estate tools ("Top Scripts" .
