If you're logged in to xstreet-sl, and can see a L$ balance, right below that L$ value is a small link that says "Withdraw". Click it to withdraw all or part of your L$ balance back to your avatar's L$ balance in-world.

That's what I remember--but it took me to a page that wanted credit card information apparently for a cash pay out. This didn't used to be so hard.

Sounds like maybe the first time you clicked a bit low, and hit the one for adding to your USD Balance.

From: Ceera Murakami If you're logged in to xstreet-sl, and can see a L$ balance, right below that L$ value is a small link that says "Withdraw". Click it to withdraw all or part of your L$ balance back to your avatar's L$ balance in-world. No, it pays you back either to Paypal or credits your card account. You then have to buy them back.

I've been doing it as I described since well before LL took over XStreet-SL. You must be loggd in to x-street SL, and you must have a non-zero balance whit them for L$. Click Withdraw, right below the L$ balance, then indicate how many L$, and when you click OK, it immediately pays that many L$ to your account. In your transaction history, it shows up as a payment form an avatar named "Exchange Street".

From: DancesWithRobots Soyer How do I get lindens out of my Xstreet account and back into the game? BUY! BUY! BUY! getting them back in the game by spending is how you keep the economy going!

From: Ceera Murakami Sounds like maybe the first time you clicked a bit low, and hit the one for adding to your USD Balance. I don't think so. It's possible, but I remember there was a warning about fees when lindens were being cashed out. Usually I put lindens in and spend them. But in the past I HAVE transferred them back from time to time. Been a while

From: 23rdDjin Negulesco BUY! BUY! BUY! getting them back in the game by spending is how you keep the economy going! Heh. I did. I needed to pad my auction bid a bit and it worked since the winning bid was within the difference of what I had and what I added. I wonder who I pissed off. I miss the days when you could see who you were up against.

I do it every month.
