Stuff going missing

hiya

im having problems with my stuff going missing.

this last week i returned to sl after having a break from it.

and i replaced mi belongings in the villa that im now renting at the start of the week. now one of mi items has gone, i know it was there last night becuase i used it and tonite i notest the items has just poofed into thin air

ive contacted the sim owner and hes saying he cant do anything about.

its not been returned as i would of been told

also mi fave bed has vanished from my invtory, i have the rest of the set but the bed has gone and mi friend that had the same set said the same bed in her set had gone

i know its not mi cashe as i set it up ready to clear every morning before i login. ive tryped in the invorty search the item name and nothing.

does anyone know what mite of happening here with both items.

Unfortunately, that happens sometimes. The asset server eats items. Sometimes they come back a lot of times they don't. People have reported losing many items, entire inventories even. You an clear your cache, uninstall SL totally and reinstall it, or ask the Sim owner to ask LL for a Sim restart. That's about all you can do, as far as I know.

I have had some things move around. One of the pics in my sky box disappeared into the wall a couple of days ago. so check inside walls, and floors for items like that.

Make real sure they're not in your inventory. I have gotten multiple items back as a consolidated package, named after one of the item, but when I opened it up, I found several other missing items inside. And it won't necessarily be in your Lost and Found, either. If you know what all you lost, try searching for the names of several of them. Or look in your recent items for something unexpected.
