I tp'd to a new area and could not move. I closed out SL and have not been able to sign back in. This happened over 3 hours ago. I keep getting a message that says:

Login failed. The system is logging you out right now. Your account will not be available until.............and it keeps giving me a time frame within a few minutes of the current time.

Unfortunately I'm not an expert but I thought I'd answer as no one else has yet. I guess this is a slow time for getting answers.

I think I've heard of this happening and what it was was that for some reason you were not completely logged off properly the last time you left the world. If you have an alt or a friend who can log on and go to the spot you logged off from you can test this theory. If it is what happened I think they will see your av still frozen in the spot you tried to log off from.

If I recall correctly the answer to the problem is to have LL restart the sim in question or the owner of the sim if it's a privately owned island.

Hopefully an someone with better answers will be along soon or you've already solved the problem yourself or it's solved itself.

Yup....the other answer is to stop trying to log in. Wait....it has happened to me a few times in the past and the first time it happened....I made numerous attempts to re-log and every time I got the messege it was telling me I couldn't log back in for X amount of time.....the more I tried, the longer it took.

Finally someone told me to stop trying to log in. The system was still logging me out.....so I did. Now...if i ever see that messege.....I go find something else to do for 15 minutes or longer and then try. I have never had the problem again.

I'm always able to re-log as long as I wait at least 15 minutes before re-trying.

Well, i was able to get back in for about an hour yesterday, then it started again. Cannot get in this morning

I have now submitted my first incident ticket to SL. Hope they can help

Try rebooting the modem/routers attached to the computer. One of them may be holding onto the connection.
