Getting Rid of A Particle Fountain???

In error, I rezzed what I think is a particle fountain of sorts, or at least that's the best way to describe what I wound up with.

I was looking in my inventory for some kind of freebie fountain. Found something called a "Bakuzelas Fountain" and thought this was just the name of the fountain. Rezzed it and it turned out to be what obviously is just something which would go INTO a fountain, like a particle effect of sorts, has sound effects, sparkly, etc.

So now it's sitting on my land and I can't click on it to get rid of it. It's on my old land, my prim land. Each time I click on where I think the object is, all that highlights is my prim land, which I obviously do not want to delete.

How can I get rid of this thing? Would have been nice if inserted into a dry fountain for effect but sitting out in the open is doing me no good, although it sure does sound pretty :)

The particle script is in an alpha prim. So, View/Highlight Transparencies.

Thank god, once you highlight them you can click on them!

If only that worked. Usually, I know it would. I just can't click on any part of it without it wanting to choose the prim land or surrounding objects near it. Probably because the damn thing is dancing around? I can't find the actual beginning point for it, where it originates from even. Tried going under the prim land, thought perhaps it was buried somehow underneath and I could "grab" it that way, but no such luck. I'm beginning to think I may have to either delete that part of the prim island or just live with it at this point

Ok, Faithless, I shall be Faithful!

Glad to hear someone else had this one and managed to get rid of it. I'll just keep on having a go at it :)

zoom out a bit, so you can see all the area it would cover. to make it easier you can remove some prims, or have empty sky in the background. edit something so you're in edit mode and choose "select only my objects" from the tools menu. then draw a marquee around the whole area and hopefully it will outline the ball or whatever it is, and you can hit delete on the keybard or from the edit (i think) menu.
