I bought a shape from Robert Diamond Shape Sanctuary which replaced my original shape. I didn't like it but I can't take it off and get back my original shape. I right click the folder and click "take off all items" but it does not come off. I also open the folder and right click the individual items but the option to take it off doesn't come up. I also cannot find the place or the person which sold it. So I am stuck with an avatar shape which I do not want and I have lost my original shape which I spent a lot of time creating.

Can anyone help?

Mecha Innis.

you have to wear a shape to replace a shape, you just can't take it off.

in the search section do a search for body or shape and see if you can find an alternative shape, try all you find, you may still have your original one in there somewhere, if your lucky.

You have to replace it by wearing a new (or your old) shape.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Hi Mecha, welcome to the forums. If you never saved your shape under any specific name, then don't panic, it is still in your inventory as the shape for the default avatar you chose when you created your account. Or whatever avatar "outfit" you last chose to wear.

It is a good idea to name your shape by a name you'll remember (use "Save As" in editing appearances), and make multiple copies in case LL hiccups and "forgets" it.

Note that skins and eyes are just like shapes - you can't take them off, you just wear different ones.

just imagine the look of horror on your face if you did manage to remove your shape and your skin just drooped to the floor like a hot air balloon after a hard landing :p

default av's are likely in your clothing folder, under the folder name of the av you signed up with.
