OK, I Have Green, yes GREEN.
Most times when I rez I have a green torus sticking out the back of my head. OK, it's not painful but it does make me look more stupid than normal. The 'Green Thing' disappears after a few seconds but, rest assured, it comes back on the next log-in. It looks suspicously like a green chocker I was making some months back that was attached to the spine.
I've done all the normal stuff such as re-install SL, clear cache, re-bake, try to 'detach it (but it doesn't allow me to select it), danced naked around the camp fire, sacrificed a few virgins, rattled chicken bones etc... but all to no avail.
Anyone got any more suggestions?

Well- see.. the problem is that Virgins thing- they are few and far between and you claim to have sacrificed a few... some were lying I guarantee it.
Aside form that, since you mention you were making a choker- have u tried remove all and detach all?

I was thinking the same thing, detach all, remove all clothes, log out nekid and primless then log back in and see if it is still there
of course do this in a private area (not recommended for PG or highly populated areas)

Yup, did that. In fact, I was on the work station above the mall when I did it and when I relogged I ended up 250 meters below in the mall. Just me, a skin, and my green bit plus about 20 shoppers.

right click your arm --> take off --> detach all.
then reattach the items you DO want, such as hair and shoes.

Can you see it with Highlight Transparent on?
Does it show up when you search for "worn"?
