Can anyone help with this - since the last viewer update some objects in outfits (prim skirts and such) simply don't load - no message no nothing... and 3 outfits recently have skirt layers or pants layers that don't load... they show for an instant and then go kapoof... any suggestions, i've cleared cache and restarted...

had it happened to me too- on one outfit a rebake helped-- the other two seem permanetly borked

Happened to a blouse I wore this morning too - first there- then me exposed!!!

I had a shirt disappear the other day... was on for like 3 seconds, then completely disappeared for a second..then only I could see it and was still topless to others until I rebaked again >.< (Non-prim shirt)

It's a known bug and there is already a JIRA (or ten) about it...

The newer clients are incorrectly interpreting skirt length as zero.

One work-around is to repeatedly rebake, open appearance, close appearance, rebake again... Do it three or four times and eventually it will fix that ONE skirt. Then you can start the dance with another that is acting up...

Hopefully they will fix it soon.

according to a recent meeting log though, the skirt issue is not a bug, as much as it is a network issue on the users end... (let me see if I can find that part of the log)

OK.. so I am on a laptop.. about 12 feet from the router... this only started happening within the last couple days. I cannot see how more than one person could be having an issue unrelated to the new viewer if it all began concurrently.

My wife noticed this, too, last night. I don't buy the client side packet loss. She's on a wired desktop and we have a 3 Mbit DSL line. Nothing has changed on our end for quite some time.

I too am on a wired PC, and never had the issue until strangely enough, havok 4 came out

No problem. I was disagreeing with Pastrami and not you. I realized you were just passing along information.

While I don't have any outfits that include a skirt layer (I realize that some men's outfits with long coats, etc. do), I've seen this issue brought up many times in the past several days and just a night or two ago saw my wife struggling with it.

Heya - well no for me too this only just started happening and i'm on a powermac, dual core, hardwired to the router so i don't think that's it but i'll start my *baking course* today...

I've seen at least 5 gals at Help Island Public wearing tops with nothing on below.

I just made the connection. They must this problem. If the were just trying to be lewd they'd take their top off too.

This tops they were wearing just didn't make sense to be worn by themselves.

everytime I see this thread title I think it says

objects not attacking.. skirt layers disappear
(I tend to speed read and skip a lot of word, apparently too many in this case LOL)

My skirts started disappearing the day after I downloaded the new SL update. Oddly, one
or two seem to still work. Most don't. I'm about to try the multi-bake approach. I sure hope it works. Jeans chaf my legs

No, it's your customers' fault, at least according to some of the Lindens at Pastrami's office hours last week. They're blaming it on user side network issues...isn't that nice?

Never mind that it didn't happen before the Windlight viewers were introduced, or that it seems to be limited to just skirts and not any other clothing or textures...

Hey the objects not attaching - anyone got an idea on that... skirt and stocking layers rebake fixes but objects?? any ideas ??
