I noticed this in the windlight / rc / newest viewer - property lines shine through everything, but not deep water. You can make the water go away through the debug menu, it's under the rendering stuff. But when the water goes away, the land under the deep parts goes away too, just blackness. And, still no property lines.
It's like, it's too deep under water to render, and if you take the water away, it just renders nothing at all.
I ended up making some marker prims to put where I wanted, to help me with property lines.

Advanced / Rendering / Types / uncheck Water (and recheck to see the Water again)
If you're running into the dissapearing land mesh problem Atashi mentioned, uncheck Atmospheric Shaders in Edit / Preferences / Graphics (you may need to check Custom first to see the option).
If you need to see the property lines *and* the water at the same time, uncheck Basic Shaders as well.

From: Kandee Herrey i can edit the area where the water is, but can not see the water even when i uncheck the basic shaders Do you mean that you can't see the property lines underwater even with basic shaders off? Or you don't see the water at all? (Maybe you forgot to recheck Advanced / Rendering / Types / Water ) Either way, happy it helped .
