I am suddenly having this weird thing with the Windlight viewer. When I log in, I get an error message that says Viox GateWay Error with some details below it. My av will barely move, and objcts will barely rezz, and verrrrrrry slowly. Not only that, but when I close out and try to use one of the other SL viewers, they will not even open, and I have to restart my computer in order to use them.
I have cleared cache, reinstalled Windlight, cleaned my registry and defragged my hard drive.
Anybody know what this is and how I can fix it?

Are you trying to use the actual Windlight Firstlook because that's now been replaced by the new RC viewer which has WL incorporated into it.
If you mean the newest RC viewer with windlight...no idea what's happened unless it's become corrupt somehow, in which case you may just try totally un-installing it and re-installing it from the web site. But...the newest RC viewer IS also windlight enabled now.

Sorry for the confusion...I am actually referring to The RC viewer as the one I'm having trouble with. I did the reinstall and all that, to no avail...
