I don't think there is a fixed interval between new name offerings.
There's a place that monitors names at http://slnamewatch.com . _____________________

www.slnamewatch.com tracks the history of available avi names, and can send you an email alert when they change. (Btw - I'm not associated with the site in any way.)

Woot would be a good surname option. Very popular, I'd imagine. I might even get an alt and call it Wooter Woot.

Anywhere on that site does it say like this and this last name was just added today or something like that just worded in another way?

Also, CSI-NY has its own list of last names, but it has never changed as far as i know. You can see this alternate list by clicking on "[Active-Alt Only]" on the right. _____________________

Avenues to retrieve a retired name?
01-14-2008 15:35
Is it possible? Would like our kids to have the same surname, but its now retired. So I'd really appreciate some feed back on the feasibility thereof, &/or ways of accomplishing same. Thx!

Me too please, thanks... Well I think you can also register the CSI:NY names if you want. Just go to their website, register and then continue using SL.... otherwise just be patient until LL rotates the names again. Its 100 days now since the last rotation. |

Yeah, I was wanting to make an account for my RL girlfriend, and we wanted to both have the same last name and be sisters in SL
Is it likely that the name Messmer will be available again? |
