Anyone else experiencing this MAJOR bug?? I have submitted a ticket but want to know if this is affecting any other store owners, etc. I have been told it will be researched on Monday...in the meantime, any store owners who use furniture or other rezzers that rez multiple items out of a box might wanna take a look at their vendors....

Here is a transcript of my support ticket:
-------------------------------------
For Sale Objects that are shift-selected all together but have different sale prices do not retain their individual prices after taking them into inventory as a grouped object and rerezzing.

For instance, say I have 3 items I want to sell together in a rezzer, I price them 10, 20, and 30L, then select them all, take a copy, then put them into a box as one object. Then "open" the box, then rezz the grouped object from my inventory, and suddenly all the objects are priced as $20L

I have used Furniture Rezzers for months (without this issue) that sell sets that can be bought as sets from the vendor or as separates (by buying the object directly), so I thought it might be the rezzer script... but then I tested with just grouped items and a box, no scripts, same result.

I suspect it is a bug, otherwise one can't even select a set of objects at different prices and save it as a set in inventory, without losing all the original prices...

This is really bad news for people selling groups of furniture in rezzers that rez the furniture, because they either all rez at too high a price, or too low a price and either is bad :/

I just noticed this issue today, but it might have been present last night after I updated my client, I just didn't notice it. I noticed it today when rezzing a grouped object from inventory and saw that all 5 items had the same price even though before, they all had different prices.

I suspect it is something happening upon rezzing, I am hoping so anyway, because I have tons of items as grouped objects with the objects within the group with different prices.

I hope this will be resolved as soon as possible, otherwise I will have to change the way I have run my store for the last 8 months to work around this bug, as will many other vendors that use furniture rezzers to store multiple color combinations of the same sets, etc...

--------------

Also I am way too much of a puss to fill out something in JIRA.. not like I can even understand how the freakin system works anyway (but that is for another post)... But I will be checking up on the ticket frequently next week as this has a major effect on my business. Just wanted to alert those of you using vendors that rez multiple items and those items are set for sale at different prices.

There was another thread about it here earlier. I got a group IM about it, there's a Jira about it but I don't have the link.

Blog - they're fixing it asap

Blog: After the viewer update, we were made aware of a critical bug that may affect vendors in a most unfortunate way - please visit our public JIRA for a full discussion of the matter.

In short: imagine you have a number of vendors out, all set at different prices. You take them up all at once, and they are taken into your inventory as a coalesced object - meaning, they are all stuffed together as one. You then take them out of your inventory again to set them up at a different place, and all your vendors will be set at the same price.

We strongly recommend that you for now abstain from taking up multiple vendors at one time, rather you should pick them up one by one if you’re planning a move or redecorating your shop.

Our Developers Team is aware of this bug, which we have classified as a showstopper, which means it’s *really* high up on our list of things to fix. In fact, they are working on a fix as I write this, and we hope to be able to roll it out very soon.
