How many bots do you run on the grid?

We have campbots, landbots, trafficbots, copybots, searchbots, modling bots, memorial bots, griefbots.

Simple question for all the bot runners out there, remain anonymous if you like, just wondering how many of the 20,000 online at off peak times are real residents. Are there hundreds or thousands?

Yep I seen a memorial to a young guy that died with at least a dozen memorial bot guards standing in eternal military salute

Bring out your dead!! Register your bots!

But seriously bots are not the same as avatars with a living breathing person at a computer controlling them. Seeing how bots are here to stay, there needs to be some way to differentiate them from 'real' avatars. Maybe they would be given a different coloured name tag and have the same in-world status as an NPC in any regular MMO so that shooting / orbiting a bot would not be an AR-able offence. Heck you could even go as far as implementing a points system (which could be converted for L$ by n00bs below a certain age) based on the type of bot and how badly it was injured or killed. That'd clean up Dodge City in a hurry!

Heh, that would look kinda funky in the official stats:
30,000 users online
12,00 bots online

Shoot 'em up, baby!

or something like that. :D

I tried to suggest a bot style account instead of the same as regular residents.

I was told I was discriminating against Bot kind
