What happened to my hair?(and other questions)

Question 1o i was in a sandbox when i noticed i had a jet ski. for laughs i equiped it on my head when i took it off i was bald. I thought it was just a glitch but when i try to put my hair back on nothing happens.Please help!
Question 2:I am new it's my second day.It's normal for me to be broke. But i don't know anywhere to get money.I tried the money tree, but it doesn't give enough.Can someone tell me where to get a job and how?(the game is a little confusing on my second day)
Question 3.:At the money tree place i won these prize things.I'm just wondering how do i use a sandbox?(steps please)

If you guys would answer these questions i would be so grateful.This game is very fun even thought i'm just starting.

i would be lost in SL without my mastercard..if this sounds like a viable solution to you...your hair should just appear again by clicking on it and choosing wear? Sandbox..do you mean so you can unpack boxes?

1) You didn't say exactly HOW you are trying to put the hair back on, so just to be sure:
Open your inventory window (Ctrl-I).
Find the hair you want to wear (you can type the name in the inventory search field).
Right click on the hair and choose "wear" or "Add to outfit".

Sometimes it can take a LONG time for hair and clothes to rez if you are in a laggy sim, if you try to put the hair on twice and it says "Attachment pen ding" then try going to a different sim, it's usually lag.

2) You can find a MILLION things in SL for free, pretty much anything you need to start off with. Right now there is a freebie hunt all over SL just for guys, and several that are more for gals.

(I'll be happy to send you info on the hunts I know about, if you want it.)

If you still feel you can't live without spending money, you can camp for it (pays around a penny per hour, whoopee), get a job (look under Employment forum here), or just buy Linden money (easiest and a buck goes a long way).

I'd personally suggest not spending money for at least a month or until you are acquainted with SL well enough to know what is a waste of money and what is worth buying. A lot of things you can make for yourself!

3) Which brings me to the Sandbox question. A Sandbox is a place where anyone can go to build things, rez things (drag them from your inventory onto the ground), or open boxes containing clothing and other items. If you build things, don't forget to take them back or delete them when you are done.

Well my parents don't want to spend much more money...
Well i would assume so i mean is there another way?
I had these gifts and i wanted to open them so i went to a sandbox.I just need to know how do i do that?

Check the video tutorial link I posted above, on that page search for "how to open boxes".

When you are at the sandbox, find a box in inventory that you wish to open or look at and drag it to the ground (called rezzing it).

If it is an object (rather than a box), you can right click and either Take it back to inventory or if putting it on the ground left a copy in inventory, you can simply delete that rezzed copy (right click, select More, select Delete) - it is polite to clean up after yourself, even in a sandbox.

If it is a box, right click and select Open and then click Copy to Inventory and the contents will go to your inventory in a folder with the same name as the box that you put on the ground. Again, clean up the box after you are done.

From the sound of it, you're just picking money from one tree, and no that will not be enough, since you'll only get a small handful of L$ per day. That blogger there managed to get between L$50 and L$150 per day from money trees, by the method she details here:
