Would this be the silliest drama ever?

Not counting pure malicious griefing, yesterday I saw the silliest and most pointless drama in my time in SL.

I was at a popular dance club and a resident turned up and wanted to know where the dance machine was. On being told, they started complaining that it wasn't labelled and kept on about how dance machines should be labelled like they are in other clubs. Then they started complaining about the dancefloor and the general build and how bad it was (it's actually quite good!).

People started saying to this person things like 'nobody says you have to stay here' or 'if you don't like it, go somewhere else' but this person stayed on, thinking up new things to criticise, adding that we are all an unfriendly bunch of people.

Has anyone else seen anything similar?

Some people seem to be wired wrong. They get off on acting like a jerk and then playing the victim when people treat them like a jerk. Unfortunately, I have met many people like that in SL. Attention seekers I assume.

Silly drama involves crazy bloogers with lists.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Not really drama, but why do people type along to the lyrics of songs in clubs? Or on SL blogs why do they just paste the lyrics to a song they like for no reason?
We will never know!

The typed lyrics are in harmony with the song - some people like to harmonise.

Unfortunately I see it all the time at the club where I work. You get the people who make it a game to see how long it takes them to be ejected or banned from the club. You also get the people who tp in at the last moment, enter the contest and then tp all their friends in to vote for them. Either case it spoils the fun for other people.

Yes, I've seen similar stuff. I'd say it's up to the managers or even the land owner if there to deal with it or not. I've seen some land owners or managers say "Knock it off" or "That's enough" and the person says "okay". SL seems like kindergarten sometimes.

It reminds me, I did have an encounter once with someone who seemed to have joined SL just to tell us all how stupid it is and what sad losers we all are. But later he IM'd me because he'd obtained a piece of jewellery and wanted some help to get it positioned properly.

I never understand these ppls, I mean yah I sorta do, just taking their anger out on a crowd.
But I see at least one a week, telling us all about ourselves as they imagine.
The last one was shouting "You are all pixels! Pixels!" like Soyant Green is ppls!

drama

as a club owner (the smoldering joint) the biggest drama i get to see usually is idiots coming in and threatening to "close me down" because i have the kids running around. luckily, i can bounce them around in a corner of the sim, and if they dont behave after that, i can ban them from the island. and this is precisely why i left the main land.

This is the number 1 reason why I don't enter events anymore. Because no matter how much hard work and honest preparation one might do for an event, there's always someone with no skill, average AV, and a ton of friends who ends up winning. We used to call it "victory by mouth" instead of skill, and clubs and/or staff that encourage this kind of thing don't get tipped. No logic in PAYING someone for being biased, or for allowing something they sponsor to be gamed to the point of becoming a joke.
