Does Second Life have a all-day Halloween Costume party?

With Halloween coming soon, I was thinking about this. It is so easy to get costumes on Second Life and be different than something you usually are. Does Second Life have an all-day Halloween Costume party?
If so, have any of you been to one and do you have any favorite memories of them? Any costumes?
Any plans for the next one?

I'm sure there will be several to chose from but nothing global as far as I know.
Last year I dressed up as a human. But then I was running with the furries so that was an unusual look for us.

Gee, and here I thought SL was an all year Halloween costume party  Actually, I don't know that there is an actual LL sponsored Halloween party but many groups do have them. And usually, if you happen upon a Linden in world on Halloween they have some Halloween goodies to give away. |

A couple times a year. So there isn't usually a global one, hmm. Yeah, I can see how there might not be, but I could picture a bunch of smaller Halloween parties here and there. It just sounds REALLY fun. |

I don't think I've seen a costume party running all day. I'm guessing a lot of clubs will be running Halloween themed events and there will probably be a lot non-club parties too. There are usually a lot of Halloween builds or specially decorated Halloween regions for you to explore and I'm sure people going there will go in costume. There's also a surge in Halloween related merchandise and decorations being sold.

I wasn't here last Halloween, but I hear there was a 12-hour Forum Cartel Halloween party... This year, that party's planned for Saturday, November 1st, as it was felt that more people could participate on a weekend. In addition, many folks have, gasp, RL Halloween festivities to attend.  |

Most clubs will have a halloween thing going on for a whole week of Halloween.
I work at a club that is going to be doing that. I'm going to DJ there too so I got a bunch of great halloween themed music picked for it.
Some Rocky Horro Picture Show songs, Type O Negative, Thriller, Monster Mash, and then some.

Halloween is a huge holiday for SL. There are parties everywhere.
Costumes can be anything...a simple outfit or domino mask to a complete new avatar.
But in the excitement over Halloween, don't forget International Talk Like a Pirate Day...this Friday, Sept 19. Arrrr!
