Set Landing Point Question

Hello,

I am an admin in a sim. The land is group owned, and there are 2 owners. I am an officer in the group, but not an owner. We have a landing point set in "About Land" and in my abilities, I am allowed to create landmarks. If I create a landmark, and use it at a later time away from the sim, I still tp to the landing point. If I re-select the LM, it does not take me to the desired location and I remain at the Landing point with a message that says "Unable to find a good teleport destination in this region".

The reason we want the admins/officers to get to places is because we are there to take care of griefers and handle other problems. With rezzing, it can take quite a bit of time to navigate around the sim without being able to get to where we want directly.

I am guessing there is not way around this with the current group setup? I don't think the owner wants to add me or anyone else as an owner, and I would most likely feel the same. I am also guessing that the "Allow to create landmarks" ability is only for sims that are set to not globally allow this. So for me, I can create one but I cannot get to it as I am not an owner of the sim and am limited to the landing point.

If there is a way around this or a better setup, I would appreciate any help.

As far as I know, in group land you can only tp to landing point if it's setup. Landmarks won't work.

The only way to circumvent the landing point is to set home. What you may want to do is remove the landing point and disable the ability to make landmarks on the land, with a landmark giver to visitors that sends them to the point you desire.
