I found a thing called a rez box it mentioned something about making little or no prims could someone please explain what this is or if such a thing exsist?

Sounds like you are talking about a temp-on-rezz device?
If so, you place the temp-rezz script in an object, place the object in a box, so now you have only one prim for the object. The script temporarily rezzes the object.
pluses: you use fewer prims.
minuses: the object tends to flicker. you can't use it to rezz physical objects. more scripts running.
I use a couple for rezzing some trees, it's not so bad. I had a very complicated tree/flower arrangement set up this way, but the flicker was too much. I was using one for a footbridge, but had to rezz a prim to have something for avs to actually walk on.
Use sparingly!!
