Hi,
There's not much information about benefits of a group other than for being land owners. What about others?
If I create a group with a friend (we have 2 shops and planning a new one), if we rent space, can we use the group for that? So all the sales of that shop go to the owners evenly? Or the group "financial issues" are only for landlords?

I belive sales through group deded objects are split amounst members of the group that have the pay liability box tipped in their roles.

Isis, you are correct; if you and your friend create a group and want to split proceeds, you will need to DEED the vendor to that group. Then all proceeds will be split between you and your friend. To deed it to the group, click the "Share with group" option in the Edit window, then deed the object to the group. Keep in mind that you will need to activate that group whenever you need to change the object at all.
