I'm fairly new and have just tried putting together an outfit in Appearance Mode and am unable to retain my hair when I change outfits. The hair directory in appearance mode indicates bald hair base. I can't delete the hair base in my inventory, therefore, when I change outfits I'm always hairless. Would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

When you right click on the outfit folder, instead of 'replace outfit' choose 'add to outfit'. That will keep the the current hair on your head.

Are you trying to change your outfit by dropping a folder with the outfit in it onto your avatar?

Replace the clothes one by one. You most probably do not want to ever remove the bald hair base, unless you radically change your shape or skin (when the bald can hide eyebrows, etc.)

Were you wearing hair when you made the outfit, and did you click the box to save the hair?
All of my saved full outfits always have a hair style in them. The only time that it has not saved the hair, was by my own error.

99.99% of all hairs are copyable for just this reason. You can copy and paste the hair that you want to wear with an outfit into that outfit's folder. You can also copy and paste the Baldie hair into each outfit folder, so that you can just drag the entire folder to your avatar, and not worry about where your Baldie hair is in the Inventory.
