Collar just stopped working..period. We have tried to get it to work for over a week. Has anyone else experienced this? What to do..

Look at the notecard directions to reset the collar.

While wearing the collar, right-click it and pick Edit.
Next go to Tools > Reset Scripts in Selected Object If that doesn't reset the collar, you might need a replacement. I once had 5 collars break within a month and Ame replaced all of them for me after I proved they were broken. (She has a notecard of steps to follow to confirm breakage.) _____________________

You can also drag the collar to the ground, edit it, and go the tools menu and select reset script in selected object. That's how Amethyst R. directed me to reset mine when I got attacked by a griefer using one of those ownage devices that caused all my scripted objects I was wearing to start having script errors. It took resetting it half a dozen times before it was back to normal.

Amethyst, like most inworld stores, has a Group of their own. For product support, sending an IM to the Group is probably best. Just Search on the Group tab inworld to join.

The other thing to check is :-
1) That your not at a sim that's got scripting turned off - I know of at least one area that does and that will temporarally 'break' your collar. 2) That scripts are set to running (edit the collar then look in the menu's - can't remember the name of the relevant one but it's one of the central menus and down the bottom). I have had scripts set them self to stop runnig and that can appear to break attachments. |
