Inventory jus...dissapeared?

okay, i havn't posted on here in a long time, havn't needed to until now

short summary. i've actually heard other rumours and seen that other people have suffered this and now i've been struck with it.

i recently, and i cant explain how this could of happned, lost well over 7k or more of items, literally just gone, where things were are now empty! e.g clohting,weapons,avies and anything i changed recently.

i have tried the following as suggested by the knowledge base and being an SL user of nearly 3 years i went for the obvious -

Cleared cache an relogged (tried this many times) - No success or items returned

Tried the RC client and First look - No success

submitted a support ticket - well, being a basic account, i could be waiting a very long time

If anyone is having this problem or knows any solutions to this, thankyou in advance and i hope LL is aware of this bug.

and again thanks for the link you provided much appreciated , sadly to say though, that didnt work either, the items are still missing . i may have to wait until LL responds to my ticket, fixes the bug....or its starting out with items all over again for me x.x

sorry to hear this has happened to you!, i know when this has happned to me, if its the same problem, i can still see the folders that things were in, i just cant get into them.

i have found that actually going into my secondlife folders (under my computer etc), and manually deleting my cache folder, then logging back into sl again helps to bring everything back. it takes a while to load it all up, but it works for me.
