Am I right that you cant get a landmark from someone's profile or am I missing something very obvious?
Frequently I see an object want to know who built it...check out the maker's profile and would love to get a land mark for their shop from their picks...
The only way there seems to be of doing this is a quick tp to the shop getting a landmark and tping back to what I was doing...
Unless I am missing an obvious way round this it seems to me that getting a land mark from peoples picks would be a really useful feature to have.

It would be useful; it's a feature I'd love to see. There may be a JIRA on it somewhere, I can't recall.
What I do is keep a notecard of places I'd like to visit with notes of whose picks I found them in and why I wanted to go. If I am feeling particularly ambitious, I'll open the map from the picks entry and copy the SLURL into the notecard. Then when I'm bored or looking for something to do I open up that notecard and find something to check out. _____________________

Correct, you cannot get an LM directly from a profile. Yes there is a JIRA, though I do not remember it off the top of my head.
Like Madhu, if I find something in a profile that I want to check out, I copy the info and put it in a Notecard that I keep with lots of that info. _____________________

i just open the LM info page from the profile . and minimize it untill i have time to tp there. once i tp there i grab a LM or create it.. but if i forget to tp there and then crash i lost it

From a profile pick, I click on "show on map" then click "make slurl" and paste that into a notecard for when i have time to check out the place.
