Is Something Wrong in Other Sims?

Just went on to check my land in sl and I found Chaska was either not there or was there and TPs were down and then I crashed. Just weird and seriously disturbing.
Is it happening elsewhere?

Yep, TPs have been wonky all day today for some folks.

I was in SL most of the day for a change, then I took a break and now I can't log in. Did the whole restart thing, made repeated attempts, click login and can't get past the next window.
Maybe my pc thinks I've been staying up too late, heh.

in world is borky... textures and prims snapping back to original as i work
some stuff .. not found in inventory... random little freezes where nothing can be done...
and its not even the weekend yet.

last night i logged off in desperation.. anything i wanted to wear was ... not on the asset server .. but visible in my inventory..

I'm finding, this evening, that as I try to cut up some land* the About Land box keeps showing random square-meter amounts, and doesn't keep the descriptions I type in, either.

I ws just in Hanja and the other 3 sims that make up the Welcome Area were invisible. I know they were online because I was IMing with someone who was standing in one of them and could see me.

Roll on the next best thing! Don't LL realise every time they drive folk off, some don't return?!?

If this was true we would have never grown from 3,000 to 80,000. People consistently preach doom & gloom for SL but it just keeps growing.

As far as the network issues, something was definitely up starting yesterday afternoon. I crashed several times when I rarely crash, objects were taking forever to rez, etc. It was just plain wonkier then it has been for a few days. Checked and there were several of the extreme bug hunter Lindens logged in. Personally I think there was just an error in some of the asset server work they have been doing the last couple of months. Hopefully it should be in better shape this evening then it was last night.

I've been seeing something I've never seen before: scripts working fine in standalone objects, but anything attached or sat-upon seems to do nothing at all. Not even sure how that's possible, but I haven't found an exception. Tried with an alt, too.

Just there in Chaska (this is next day of when I posted) and strange things still happening in Chaska. I can LOG IN to my property there and even tp around my sim but when I leave it I cant see it from teh other SIM. If I walk from Hazeltine to Chaska and enter the lan itself I just go floating off like thistledown. Horrible! I am fine elsewhere in sl and can TP all over the place and see everything as normal so it isnt my viewer. It must be a sl generated problem.

This seems to be getting common now as I read of more and more oddities and strange events. It reminds me of 2006 and the days of three day stoppages and off-colour events.

Usually, I post questions and threads in this forum that have an intellectual (I hope!) or a quirky humour to them. I can be juvenile, I admit (that's just the real me) but in this case I hope a linden employee is reading our forum and will consider really getting our SIMs on track so that we can enjoy a relatively calm computer world that costs many of us a large sum of money to be part of. Membership of any "club" entitles the paying member to a secure and continual service.

Forget the idealistic "future-think" of education and teens, voice and complex visuals. Lindens, roll start the world again and keep track of what is NOT happening and fix it. Obviously I am not the only one who is having issues. If we go six months without blips and gremlins then maybe we can look to expanding our horizons. We need Lindens IN WORLD on a permanent basis or valunteers that have mandates to act sensibly. NOT fluffy bunny rabbits liek teh old days BUT genuine technicians that can get in and see teh problems for themselves.

Well there was some weirdness going on in Romeo this morning. I had to log on and off a couple of times before I was able to walk or TP anywhere. My AO was working fine, but as far as any movement went - it just wasn't happening. After typing in the name of a deserted sim I was able to log in and move my Avi again so I TP'd back home and went about my business as usual.
